Fernando Verdasco Pahima Carmona (* 15. listopadu 1983 v Madridu) je španělský profesionální tenista, který na okruh ATP World Tour vstoupil v roce 2001. Ve své dosavadní kariéře vyhrál na okruhu ATP World Tour sedm singlových turnajů, když první z nich získal na antuce v roce 2004 na domácím turnaji Valencia Open a sedm deblových turnajů. Na challengerech ATP a okruhu ITF získal dva tituly ve dvouhře a čtyři ve čtyřhře.

Na žebříčku ATP byl nejvýše ve dvouhře klasifikován v dubnu 2009 na 7. místě a ve čtyřhře pak v listopadu 2013 na 8. místě. Trénují ho bývalí španělští tenisté David Sánchez a Sergio Pérez. Na juniorském kombinovaném žebříčku ITF byl nejvýše hodnocen v červnu 2001 na 294. místě.

Na nejvyšší grandslamové úrovni se v mužské dvouhře nejdále probojoval do semifinále melbournského Australian Open 2009, kde v pěti setech podlehl krajanovi a pozdějšímu vítězi celého turnaje Rafaelu Nadalovi. Zápas sám považoval za jeden z největších grandslamových semifinále všech dob.

Ve španělském daviscupovém týmu debutoval jako 21letý v roce 2005 utkáním 1. kola světové skupiny proti Slovensku, když nejprve nezvládl dvouhru proti Dominiku Hrbatému a už za rozhodnutého stavu zvítězil v posledním utkání nad Kamilem Čapkovičem. Španělsko v sérii prohrálo 1:4 na zápasy. V letech 2008, 2009 a 2011 získal s týmem Španělska vítězství v Davis Cupu. Do roku 2016 v soutěži nastoupil ke devatenácti mezistátním utkáním s bilancí 9–5 ve dvouhře a 9–8 ve čtyřhře.

In 2012, Ivanovic reached her first major quarterfinal since her French Open title at the 2012 US Open, thereby achieving the feat of reaching the quarterfinals at all four majors, and finished with a year-end top 15 ranking for the first time since 2008. In 2014, Ivanovic enjoyed a resurgence, beginning with her victory in the Auckland Open, her first singles title in over two years, before going on to win the Monterrey Open, Aegon Classic and the Pan Pacific Open. She qualified for competition in the WTA Tour Championships and secured a year-end ranking of No. 5, signifying her return to the world's elite. In 2015, Ivanovic made it to the semifinals of a major for the first time in seven years at the French Open. In late December 2016, she announced her retirement, citing being no longer able to perform to a high standard as a major factor.

Ivanovic was known for her aggressive style of play and impressive forehand, described by Nadia Petrova as "the best out there." She earned over $15.5 million in prize money, which is the 39th-highest in the all-time rankings. In June 2011, she was named one of the "30 Legends of Women's Tennis: Past, Present and Future" by Time and was also included on the list of "Top 100 Greatest Players Ever" (male and female combined) by reporter Matthew Cronin.
